Apollo’s Debut Secondaries Fund Closes at $5.4bn, Exceeding Target

Apollo Global Management has secured $5.4 billion for its inaugural Apollo S3 Equity and Hybrid Solutions Fund I, surpassing its initial target. The fund, part of Apollo’s Sponsor and Secondary Solutions (S3) platform, attracted commitments from pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, financial institutions, and wealth management clients. This closing brings the S3 platform’s total capital raised to nearly $10 billion since its August 2022 launch.

The S3 platform and ASEHS (Apollo Secondaries Equity and Hybrid Solutions) aim to deliver comprehensive financing solutions for private markets, including secondary investments, NAV loans, GP lending, and staking. Apollo’s deep expertise in alternative assets positions it to capitalize on growing demand for liquidity solutions in illiquid markets.
